People just want me to have a job. They want to finally be able to take a label and stick it on me. They want to take me and drop me into a category. This will give their mind clarity and peace. They mean well, but they don’t understand how limiting this is. I can be a songwriter, web designer, dancer, writer, poet, dog behaviorist, filmmaker, social media expert, and lots of other things ALL AT ONCE. Everyone should be able to take professional voice training classes and not be pressured to stick with it for life. Working on yourself and developing all sorts of interesting skills, as opposed to just in one field, should be a common thing.
