Christmas in small town Texas. So cozy and warm!

December 3rd, 2005, 7pm

The lighted Christmas parade is held the first Saturday in December in downtown Nacogdoches, Texas. The whole community either participates in the parade by coming to watch or decorating and riding on floats. Floats range from large and extravagant to local Cub Scouts carrying lighted torches. Everyone bundles up and shares blankets and hot cocoa. The downtown stores provide hot wassail. The evening ends with fireworks. A magical night in a beautiful old town. ;)
