I am here now, might as well make some music.

It was 22°C with clouds and visibility OK. The breeze was light.

Temporality defines preciousness. What can be lost are always what we cherish the most. It’s because of this, that I find it difficult deleting photos from my collections: no matter how flawed they may be, photos are fragments of flawed ‘things’ that I created.

Street performers may drift along with the wind, or they may establish themselves with their own piece of land, but the best street performers tend to disappear after one showing. After they perform next to the glittered shopping fronts of Pitt Street, they disappear, never to be seen again.

Yet, the performance remains.

Sure, my experiences of city life in Sydney seems to reflect this and others may see it in another way, but the most amazing things I see in these tired, crowded streets are always one-time exclusives: I never have the chance to catch them again.

Or maybe I’m just not looking hard enough for them.

David Wade and Christine said thanks.
