First Kiss

“I’ve never had a real kiss” Beth said, almost whispering.

“Hmph, game over” Daryl replied, putting away the tequila.

Akward silence followed.

Daryl stood up and went to the living room, Beth followed, stumbling with her feet, she shyly touched the inside of his arm.

“Just… wait” She almost plead.

Daryl turned around, feeling weakness all over him.

“I, just… I wanted to try something” She said, her cat eyes, shy, gleaming with the moonlight.

Slowly, Beth took a step closer to him and placed her soft hands on his Biceps. Letting out small nervous breaths. Daryl coudn’t move, he was paralysed by the closness of her body and the warmness of her. She standed on her tiptoes and kissed him. For a second she felt so good, but then he was tense. So tense he accidentaly pressed the trigger of the crossbow and shooted an arrow to the floor. He didn’t move his hands, he didn’t move his lips, he didn’t move his body. Not an hinch.

She felt so rejected, so stupid. She stepped away, to embarrased to look him in the eye.

But then, Daryl smirked. He smirked. He dropped the crossbow and as quickly as his arrows, Daryl placed his hand on her waist and the other at her neck, pulling her against him. All of him. Kissing her with such strengh she felt pain. The greatest kind of pain that comes with a wave of fire that made her shudder in his arms. Making her gasp into his mouth. Those small noises she made were driving him crazy.

Daryl stopped so abruptily Beth almost fell. She didn’t realize how she had been leaning on him. Then, without losing that smirk, he picked the crossbow, plucked the arrow, and turned around without a word.

Leaving Beth confused and aching for more of him.
