Baguio City - Philippines' Summer Capital and the City of Pines. It has the coldness that gives someone warmth.

November 28th, 2015, 3pm

Baguio isn’t really my home. I did not intend to live here. It was a place miles and miles away from my hometown. But in my three years here, I could not deny the beauty it holds. It was considered the Philippines’ Summer Capital because tourists go here for its cold climate, which is different from most areas in the Philippines. It was also called the City of Pines and these Pine trees were the one who made me fall in love with Baguio. Seeing them everyday is like seeing a friend. The way they stand tall gives me a feeling of being guarded and greeted all the time. These pine tree gives me warmth away from the coldness of the city. And I could say that these pine trees have been witness to my growth more than anyone I know.
