My history teacher today told me their is more love that hate in the world. She has talked about things most people would not dare to tell us about at this age. I really do appreciate that. I distinctly remember her cry when she talked on 9/11 because her uncle was on the plane that crashed in to the twin towers. My fourth grade math teacher ran the Boston marathon, he didn’t finish when he heard the bomb go off. My sister came home crying about the Orlando shooting because HER GIRLFRIEND was in Orlando visiting family (she was at the airport she was fine). So at first I did not believe my history teacher at all. Until she told us, people helped, she showed us pictures of people helping. Giving donations, having bake sales, moments of silence, parades in people who have past honor. Now I do believe that their is more love than hate in the world. I know better times are coming.

The backside of the building. At lunch, I go on the same walk almost every day. I'll have to go on a different mid-day walk after I leave.
About thirty days until I leave this place. Trying to reconcile leaving with all the work that's left to do.
Expertise, learning new things.Things I am good at...Things I need to learn...Things I think I'm good at
