New f/1.5 lens

July 3rd, 2014, 8pm

It was 25°C with few clouds. The wind was light.

I bought a new manual Helios lens. It is very heavy and difficult to use but I’m enjoying it a lot and keeps surprising me. Being manual helps me to focus more my attention on taking a good photo, with automatic lenses I tend to be more impulsive. Also, when using it at f/1.5, the depth of field is so narrow that I need to keep my breath when shooting. I will keep practicing.

I love the crazy bokeh!
