Muir Woods National Monument

May 30th, 2014, 4am

It was 7°C. The wind was calm.

Visiting Muir Woods for the first time last week made me feel like I was walking in the forest that I always imagined when I was a kid.

In Spain we have beautiful woods forests but the trees are not very tall and the semiarid vegetation is boring. In Japan I’m always impressed by its mountains filled with vegetation and majestic cedars. But if I had to choose a forest to make my imagination fairy tales become a reality I would choose on filled with redwoods or sequoias.
