Any one interested in hearing more about the dry schlerophyll forest floor in Australia, let me know. LOL

I don’t want to pass myself off as an expert, especially on a subject as dry as the forest floor in Australia. Chuckle icon. Actually the main thing I wanted to point out is that where we live, adjacent to the “Great Otway National Park” there are two main forest types: the temperate rain forest and the dry schlerophyll. The great thing about the latter is that it has a broken upper story which lets a lot of light in. Result: lots of wild flowers. I might add, what ever kind of forest floor you find in Australia, there are likely to be lots of (mostly harmless) ants. We have 1300 species on this continent.
