This has become a staple of any day, doesn’t matter if it’s hot cold or muggy. It is guaranteed to make me feel healthy, and proactive about looking after myself. Nothing beats a flavoursome hot drink.
The balance is a bit hard to get for my taste though. I definitely do not need much ginger, but I love what it adds to the flavour. Each to their own of course, my wife has similar taste which makes it an easy one to whip up.
Just as delicious is lots of grated ginger with hot water and some milk. That is one drink that will definitely get you nice and warm.
I seem to have travelled into the zone of hot drink time in my life. I remember thinking that they were just for old people when I was younger haha.
I’ve gone away from green tea mixes and black coffees. Although I just discovered black coffee (espresso) with coconut cream. It’s really good, so I might find myself swinging back that way.
I try and avoid coffee on a regular basis though. As much as I enjoy it, my body becomes addicted very very quickly. The withdrawal headaches are nasty too.
It’s great that we have so many drinks to try though and this mix of lemon, honey, ginger and hot water is a keeper for me. I guess I can mix it up with different honeys if I felt the desire.

Where I would rather be, just not in paper form. Although paper transformers would be awesome to play with.
Slow travel, beautiful weather today, maybe dressed a bit warm.
That awkward thing.
This morning the steam stack had pig tails. Never seen that before? Reminds me of the unlikelihood of the everyday.
