When you take a tour of Auschwitz, there are several rooms you walk thru, and behind glass, you can see piles of human effects…hairbrushes, suitcases, shoes..enough to fill up a big rig truck. There is also a display of human hair, meant to be harvested to be used to make socks. I cannot describe how much hair there was, again, enough to fill the back of an 18 wheeler. I have some more photos, Zyklon B gas containers and hundreds of arm and leg prosthetic that were taken. I will post these at some point. Pretty tough to take.
