Kruger National Park - African Wild Dogs and Rhinos

November 21st, 2014, 1am

There was a mother and a father rhino with their baby and a pack of wild dogs continued to circle them. The wild dogs would approach from one angle and then the rhinos would chase them back. While the parent rhinos were looking in one direction other wild dogs would circle around. This went on for at least thirty minutes until the rhinos retreated into the bush.

This was our first stop on a 7-night overland safari from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls.
