When travelling down to my father’s on Friday, and again when out for a walk with my wife on Saturday in the beautiful countryside where I live it struck me just how green everything is at this time of year. And so many different shades!

The picture above is of the leaves of a Mimosa tree in my father’s garden. But we saw it in all the vegetation by the roads on our journey from Kent through Surrey and into Hampshire and back, and again by the stream and the country lanes on Saturday.

Truly beautiful and most definitely the colour of life!
