It all started racing around the elementary school with my two kids. A rally put on by the French immersion teachers… The task- the decipher a French clue which tells you the next location. Back and forth we ran up and down the hallways at top speed in socks attempting to make it past other teams without head on collisions! We followed the lead of my son who was the only one on our team able to truly understand where we were headed. Once we clocked in at the finish, we munched on popcorn awaiting other teams and the final tally of who raced the fastest….. Drumroll! A tie for 1st place between our team and another team who were friends if ours! Whoop whoop! The prize, goofy glasses that mom even had more fun wearing than the kids! The amazingly fun night with my kids was a priceless memory!
