I took the afternoon off to enjoy the lovely sunshine and the last of the summer in London. I love Padella Pasta in Borough Market - such delicious food! And lovely to be sitting so close to the action, and watching a well-oiled machine at work.
And then to the Switch House at the Tate Modern. It’s such a wonderful building. Each visit, I spot some new angle, shadow or light.
Then watching the world go by, people watching on deckchairs outside the National Theatre. And finished off with dinner at the food market and drinks on the roof garden at the Southbank. The sunflowers are so tall and grand! And I spotted a pineapple tile/mosaic on the ground - and those who know me, know how much I love pineapples, so the perfect way to end a lovely lovely day!
