30/7 — 20mins

August 6th, 2013, 6pm

It was 14°C with broken clouds. There was moderate breeze.

The time was indeed 20 mins, during which I tried a new approach: drawing a collection of quick (~30sec) sketches and crops of the model over the long duration of the pose.

Sometimes a longer pose can be quite tiresome and ultimately unrewarding if you get to the and it goes horribly wrong. The results of this exercise were actually quite pleasing – making for a more enjoyable drawing experience – and I’ll certainly continue do this in future classes.
