Sitting at the airport in Edinburgh, waiting to fly home. I spent two wonderful weeks exploring Scotland, and I know I have seen the smallest sampling. The architecture of Edinburgh’s Old and New Towns against the soundtrack of a jazz and blues festival. A drive through the midlands and highlands revealing one awesome vista after another. Small, colorful villages crammed with other travelers from all over the world. Much to reflect on during the long flight home.
A remarkable journey to the land of castles and mountains, literally HEAVEN ON EARTH
Waking through Edinburgh and remembering what I'm here for.
Edinburgh Castle
Here is a confession, to start. I've spent considerable time watching the ledger.
Edinburgh is always like this as summer meanders into autumn. It's my favourite time of year.
Spring in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Just an hour's overlay..one of my favorite cities
Amazing taste.
It's hard not to love Edinburgh in winter. This morning's haar is burning off fast, but Arthur's Seat is stubborn.
