Quietly planning a trip to Spain for May, we realize we can go to New York for $120.

October 27th, 2013, 3pm

It was 13°C. The breeze was light.

It started as “Let’s move to Japan and teach for a year!”

It evolved (devolved?) into “Maybe we should just backpack around Southeast Asia for a few weeks”, then served a brief stint as “Hmm, what about Costa Rica?”. But now it’s settled.

Spain. Portugal. May 2014.

The destination is almost inconsequential. We just need to go. If I’ve learned anything over the past several months it’s that trying to plan too far into the future is an insult to time.

Job security is an oxymoron. Money comes and goes. This needs to happen now.

There are a lot of beautiful moments from Spain on Hi. If you have visited there, I’d love to hear a recommendation or a memory from your experience as a note of “Thanks”. Ditto for Portugal.

Living in indecision is like riding a bike through sand. To make up your mind is to finally gain traction.

Cassie, Craig, David Wade, Mel and 2 others said thanks.
