The Humber Mouths

November 17th, 2013, 1pm

It was 10°C with overcast. The wind was light.

I spent the weekend at the mouth of The Humber river in Hull. People talk of the north bank and the south bank. Hull is on the north bank and has arguably the best named literature festival in the world, The Humber Mouth

On Friday I introduced and interviewed Chuck Fight Club Palahniuk, he read his short story Guts. On Sunday I talked to Alan former Home Secretary Johnson about his childhood memoir, This Boy. Friday the master of transgression, Sunday the man who used to be in charge of law and order.

North bank, south bank, Humber mouths.

Cassie and David Wade said thanks.
