In 2008, while I traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe, I started taking pictures of all the places I slept. A simple reminder of all the different environments and places where I’d spent the night: hotels, hostels, Airbnbs, campsites, the odd internet cafe, and sometimes, even home.

One thing I’ve learned about photography and projects: just keep shooting, and at some point, the continuity and depth will tell a story beyond what any single image could tell.

So I’ve kept shooting, albeit with a single year I took off. Here’s 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014 so far.
