I tell people that I love dogs, in any shape and sizes; as long as it is a dog, I will love it. That love for dogs is so innate, that it doesn’t occur to me to ask why I love them. I just do. But today, as I woke up having her all snuggled into me, the trust and love that comes along with it, to her it didn’t matter who I was, where I worked, where I came from, if other people loved me or not – she loves me anyway.
I love dogs, because they are love.
