Notes on Living Outside Cultural Norms. Save for a sunny day.

July 20th, 2014, 2pm

晴耕雨読 1

Rainy days. I stay indoors on rainy days, keeping warm and dry. I also work, doing as much as possible. I eat well too. Because when the sun shines, I’m out, off into the mountains to lose myself.

Put some time away for a sunny day… and spend it.

Focus on being productive not busy.2

  1. Japanese idiom. Seikoudoku: He lived in the country, working in the fields on fine days and reading books on wet (rainy) days.

  2. T. Ferriss, The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich.
