After 778 miles today my trip from sea to shining sea is complete. I made it safely and without incident from California to Delaware.

Highlights from today were the beautiful rolling hills of Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland. Of I had been to weeks later the fall colors would have warranted a stop for pictures. As it was today, I wanted to hustle home to Delaware.

I drove on Highway 33 and Highway 50 to avoid the interstate and the unbelievably frustration of Satan’s Highway also known as the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Gorgeous drive and I’m done. My plane leaves in less than two weeks.
