King's Cross in Bloom

It was 18°C with clouds and visibility OK. There was moderate breeze.

As part of the Chelsea Fringe event, 35,000 bedding plants have been planted temporarily on the steps by Regent’s Canal in Granary Square, King’s Cross Central.

They look beautiful, especially in the sunshine (which is a bit patchy today!).

And if you’re around on Saturday make sure you come down here to The big plant takeaway, which will start here at 10am. You’ll be able to buy the Marigolds, Geraniums, Petunias and Ageratum for just 50p a pot or £2 a tray, with all proceeds going to charity.
