There are days when we could all use some emotional brilliance. Days when we are oblivious to others’ emotions, and to our own. Days when we shove it all away in boxes, and just focus on getting through. Empathy is hard, and tiring, and sometimes it’s just easier to be dull.
If only emotional brilliance were as easy to find and recognize as this award in the grass.
