What a difference a day makes! From glorious sunshine yesterday to heavy rain showers all day today. If this project has taught me anything, it’s to rejoice in the positives. And today’s positive: an opportunity to wear my lovely wellies, and not have wet jeans after a quick pop to the shops to get gardening things and groceries.

I also spent the afternoon planting my newly purchased passion flower and some broccoli, courgette, carrots (I’m less traumatised by my snail incident and having another go at growing these) and sunflowers.
