It was 13°C with overcast. The breeze was gentle.

  1. Okay, I’ll admit that it’s just an arbitrary number. No magic or meaning in its selection. Just 78 words to tell a story. A creation of a thousand cuts. A challenge for sure. But, fun. A Note For the Well-Intentioned

Please don’t say it. She cannot bear it. Not one more, everything happens for a reason, or, he’s in a better place now. This is my place, here on Waterloo Road. This is my bedroom, and my bed where Father slept last night. My childish pillow drowned in his tears. Mother shouldn’t have that line on her face where her smile used to be. Big Brother shouldn’t be weeping right now. I can hear it through any wall.
