Sailing smoothly

December 14th, 2014, 3pm

As a matter of fact, it has ceased to be a problem. Seemingly, the absurdities of christmas can’t anger me any more, and you know the olde saying: if they can’t anger you, they can’t steal your time. (I just made that up).

Oh, it’s not all stoicism and serenity, no. I have fun thinking about gifts, I really do, and look at how online shopping has made that possible again. Online shopping was invented to reduce world perspiration during christmas time.

To know that nearly everything is a commodity doesn’t justify cynicism. A little sarcasm now and then might be in order, though.

Who woulda thunk it? In 2014, I’m calm enough to go with the flow and laugh at the water. At least in the case of christmas.

Adrian, David Wade and Christine said thanks.
