It´s funny the way that sometimes we are close to something, but at the same far away from it. I live in a town that is just one hour and a half flight away from Rio, and it took me a lot of years to visit this city for the first time. All of a sudden, I needed to do all the stuff that we do when we go to a very touristic city. That includes, what we call in portuguese, visiting the “Bondinho do Pao de Açucar”. When I saw the absolutely stunning city view, I tought that it probably was the best view I’ve seen from a city. And what a view! So, if you are visiting Rio for the first time, don´t forget. Visit the “Pão de Açucar”, and despite of the crowds and food high prices, it´s worth the visit. And by now, I’m planning my next trip to Rio. After all, I´m close from it!
