A day filled with laughter and happy hearts, catching up with two friends from my Hong Kong days.
I started off being a tourist in London, walking from Waterloo, across the river, through St James’ Park, past Buckingham Palace, just in time for Big Ben to chime noon and the changing of the guards, to our meeting point of Green Park. It’s so nice to see the city with fresh eyes, and to enjoy all the delights it holds.
More laughter buying picnic food - my friend’s first pick was a tower of profiteroles!
And an afternoon in Hyde Park spent catching up, sunbathing, walking and drinking copious amounts of tea.
