While on a walk on New Year’s Eve my wife and I spotted several daffodils in full bloom, including the one shown above. It’s certainly been unseasonably mild so far this winter in the south east of England, so I suppose it wasn’t surprising to find some flowers out of step with the season, although blooming 3 months early is probably something that we ought to be rather concerned about if it becomes the norm!
