Updated looping

August 5th, 2013, 4pm

It was 14°C with few clouds. The breeze was brisk.

Here’s an updated sketch from yesterday because I drew a better representation of the lamp pole from memory later… Sayhi wouldn’t let me update the photo, so it’s a new sketch.

Here’s the expanded text again:

The most corrosive of habits hardly ever leave us. We think they are gone, move forwards and then take a turn. Only to face what has been stalking us for a long, long time. Today I am reminded of the loops and turns my life has taken. And, after a day spent mostly dwelling in the past, I think I might be ready to slingshot onto a new twist in the tale.

Repeating over and over in my mind is some sage advice from Australian surrealist and long time inspiration of mine, James Gleeson:

“We all inhabit the corrosive littoral of habit.”
