Living in community.

It was 9.4°C with few clouds. The breeze was light.

An aspen colony grows from a single plant. Instead of dropping seeds, aspens send out new underground roots that then sprout upward in search of sunlight. Above ground, we see a stand of straight, white trunks - each unique from the next. But below ground, the trees all thrive from the same root system, sharing sustenance and tragedy alike. Sounds a lot like humans, really.

Kristen, David Wade, Paul and Lora said thanks.
