I’m from Cape Town, South Africa, and am currently travelling in the U.S. for a few weeks. As a huge coffee fanatic, Bird Rock is one of the places I knew I had to check out. So we made the trek out there, bearing a gift of locally roasted Legado Coffee for the owner. I had a great, long chat with the manager at Bird Rock, and they made me the best flat white cappuccino that I’ve had so far in the U.S. It was a long way to go, but well worth the effort.
