My finals are over and I’m done with college. It’s going to be a long, hot summer. Typically, Indian summers start in April and end by July. But here in Chennai, they last till September and sometimes, even mid October, thanks to the bitch that is global warming. And this year, it’s not going to be a pleasant one.
Making a career switch is not easy. Since I’m switching from Economics to English literature, I have to stay at home for another year instead of going away. And graduate school applications don’t start until September. I’m looking for ways to pass my time. Studying for tests. Interning somewhere. Not traveling as I would like to. My plans are vague. The only thing certain is the long, dreary summer ahead.

Spring (summer) Cleaning.
A piece of Soviet propaganda from the 1980s. I found it in my desk. I wonder how it got there.
A show piece. For actual work, people use the computer next to it. I wish I had one.
Today, I finally got around to watching 'Her', and to use a cliché, it made me feel emotions I haven't felt in a while.
Cheers!
