Things you see on your way.

September 21st, 2013, 12pm

It was 16°C with broken clouds. The breeze was gentle.

We surrounded by things. New, not so new, useful or not, pretty or not, things we need or things we’ve got just because we’ve… we can buy things.

Some of them came to our homes through our parents grandparents. Some old well used things which were essential to their life. Those things were around you long time, your first step, first tooth, first ripped jeans hole to mend, more will come later.

And then you over grew. You don’t need those almost ancient thing. Your home getting filled by shinny brand new toys. Old junk must go, but somehow it feels wrong, just to dump that old thing feels not right. Not right.

So you came up with a compromise to put it outside with sign attached “Free to take”.

People believe in miracles. Miracles do happen. Somebody might need those oldies, but honestly how many of those will pass your house?

So here it is. That old almost dead working horse you can’t finish off. Waiting for a miraculous hand be picked up and saved.

In two days a dumping truck is coming.

Pity.
