Without a doubt I would suggest that Mark Knopfler is one of today’s great storytellers. The lyrics of his songs are just so well-crafted (as is the music of course!).

I had the privilege of being able to get two front-row seats at the Royal Albert Hall back in May for one of his shows, and as he has a very generous photography (and recording!) policy, was able to take my camera and monopod.

My dutiful wife came along with me and I think I can safely say that she was won over!
