Spending the afternoon at a meeting in a different part of central London today gave me the opportunity to travel home from Blackfriars station, which makes a great spot for taking a photo as it now spans the Thames. On the right, south of the River, is the Shard, and on the left are the Walkie-Talkie and the Cheesegrater, while in the centre far distance is Canary Wharf, with Tower Bridge closer and right of centre.

So many of these buildings are new. This is not the London I grew up in!
