An afternoon off work to spend time with a friend visiting from New York. We started off with yummy pasta and proseco (doing our best impression of ‘ladies’ who lunch) and living la dolce vita! Then an afternoon of culture in the new extension of the Tate Modern. The Switch House is beautiful. I love it. I think it’ll stand the test of time too - a classic, if you will. Evensong at St Paul’s Cathedral was beautiful. And finished off with cocktail hour and dinner. A perfect day surrounded by friends.
