Getting ready for Remembrance Day?

October 30th, 2014, 2pm

It was 19°C with scattered clouds. The breeze was gentle.

The roof over the new-ish passenger concourse at King’s Cross Station was looking rather nice today. I’ve seen it red before, but is seemed brighter today, and there was a giant red poppy attached to the structure further down out of shot to the right, so perhaps it was all part of preparations for Remembrance Day. Regardless though, I think the coloured lighting really adds something to this impressive bit of architecture.

David Wade and Christine said thanks.
