Day 1 #100happydays: Demolition

May 23rd, 2016, 9am

I’ve been feeling overwhelmed recently, and cross with the world, and my life, even though there isn’t anything I can put my finger on what’s wrong.

And then I saw the news about hi shutting up shop, and being archived. And I thought it was the perfect time to have 100 happy days again, and to cherish the happy moments in my day. It’s too easy to get depressed and overwhelmed with life, and feel that there isn’t anything to be grateful or happy about.

So today’s photo was actually taken yesterday. I walk past this building every day. I found out the history of the building - an old factory when London was industrial. And it’s such a shame that it’s coming down, but I liked the yellow machine against the perfect blue sky.

And my happy moment today, feeling loved and grateful for having good friends who I can talk to, and who listen without judgement.

Shu, David Wade and Christine said thanks.
