An email to make my heart smile, in the midst of sadness.

A friend had a bereavement in the family and emailed me to tell me that she couldn’t make our dinner plans this week. I sent my condolences, and love. The important thing is to be with her family.

I got this lovely email back from her this evening. It puts things into perspective - what’s important in life is being surrounded by family, good friends and love.
