The perfect lazy Sunday. My bargain find in a charity shop yesterday, a-ha’s Hunting High and Low LP, playing in the background, balcony door open, letting in the warm sunshine and faintest of breezes, and woodcutting.
I love carving into wood, sometimes going with the grain, sometimes against it. I love the grooves and patterns it makes. And I’m finally shaking off the worry of making a mistake too. Only I know it’s a mistake, and if I really dislike how it prints, I can always carve again into it.
