To the Observer

July 13th, 2014, 12am

There’s a saying that observations often tell you more about the observer than the observed.

In my 19 years of life, I’ve rarely met people as observing — and so captivated by observing — as Eunice. She notices the way faint light streams into a room, or how books scattered on a bed can have as much meaning as messiness. For all the moments I miss, she bottles them up in a way that teaches me to look more, appreciate more, and remember more.

I am thankful for the way she humbly views this world, and I am thankful for our very real and laughter-filled friendship. Thank you, E. and thank you, Jesus.

Sanna, Eunice and Christine said thanks.
