An Art Deco Architectural Delight

November 25th, 2013, 1pm

Now occupied by a large advertising agency, this Grade II listed building in Herbrand Street was built in 1931 as a Daimler car hire garage. You’ll notice from the window line on the right that there was originally a spiral ramp inside, such as you would find in a modern multi-storey car park.

A hidden beauty, opposite an ugly Holiday Inn.

Paul, Cassie, Stephen and David Wade said thanks.
