Just Another Day Gone By Loving You

February 17th, 2016, 6pm

It was 13°C with few clouds. The breeze was light.

I still remember the day you asked to get into a relationship with me. I still remember how you made me say it. I still remember that blog both of us had started. I still remember Christmas 2014.

I still remember April 2015. I still remember those moments we shared with each other that day. I still remember scampering to spend more time with each other. I still remember July 2015. I still remember the frustration and the emotions we shared. I still remember hoping time to stop.

I still remember December 2015. I still remember that Skype call. I still remember all those other Skype calls. I still remember every single moment we’ve spent with each other. I still remember how my love grew for you with every single moment we spent.

It was never supposed to last this long. Everyone tells me long distance relationships don’t work, especially at our age. But, here we are, still holding out. Here we are, love, defying everything society has told us, happy (but not content) with a long distance relationship. Here we are, determined to not give up on each other.

We’ve had our fair share of problems, and we’ve had rough ways of dealing with them. But, we always overcame them to stick together. Both of us have drawbacks, and its just beautiful how you see mine as something that completes me.

You came into my life. You changed the way I see life. You introduced me to a world I didn’t know exist. You showed me what it was to be passionate about something. You guided me through situations. You brought a positive impact in my life. You made me believe in good of the world. You made me love you for who you are, not what I thought you are.

It’s been a little more than a year since you came into my life. And I’ve spent just another day loving you. Just another week, just another month, just another year loving you.
