A beautiful surprise greeted me this morning. The cream/off-white tulips that had appeared a few days earlier had changed colour.

When they first appeared, I was disappointed that there had been a mix-up when the bulbs had been packed and I had bought white tulips instead of the pink peony-like tulips. I jokingly posted on my [gardening blog] (http://thegardeninggoodlife.tumblr.com/post/81411483366/tulip-bulb-progress-unfortunately-whats-come-up) that I hoped they were planning to change colour, and they did!
