It's easy—as easy as it is to be a tourist—to fall into the same, unseeing trap when you live in a city as when you visit it.

August 20th, 2013, 1pm

It was 21°C with clouds and visibility OK. The breeze was light.

If you spend enough time with any one place, or any one person, you tend to forget or overlook or simply stop seeing the interstitials - the streets between the main streets or the facts between the major moments. And it can happen so easily and quickly that unless you really are made aware of it - suddenly coming across a lane you haven’t walked down in years, or not knowing at all what someone’s favourite song is - you’d never realize they’d both become lost to you.
