Not that this is my home, or my castle!
This is Leeds Castle, in Kent, which is about 250 miles away from the Leeds that most people have heard of, which is in Yorkshire. And it is a beautiful place, set in beautiful gardens, which on a sunny Spring day are simply stunning.
My visit here marked the start of a wonderful weekend, which took me from Leeds Castle to the Goodwood Hotel near Chichester, on to Southbourne, then Locks Heath and finally back home to Kent.
I hope to be able to post some more moments from Friday in particular over the next few days, as there were so many things there that caught my attention and made the day so special.
One year on...
Out of the shadows
Making waves
A castle, a moat, a black swan, geese, spring flowers and sunshine. Not a bad combination!
Learning lessons from the beauty of crocuses
Is this my best side?
Still singing almost 6 months later...
Dusky reflections
Birdsong
