Maggots & things

July 3rd, 2015, 5am

If you’re about to eat something right about now, it’s not a good idea to be reading this. But what can I say more? Maggots are slithering, slimy creatures that I find complete disgust in. Don’t get me wrong. Without them, the world’s entire systems would be disastrous and dead bodies would remain intact; rotting and stinking, and nothing would happen to them. But that’s just it. It’s terrifying to think that one day, when I die, maggots and worms and insects will cover every inch of my body. I’ll be their feed and my soul will watch them eat me away. What if I could feel them? Their black heads just squeezing into my flesh causing my skin to tingle and shiver. Ooh, how It gives me the creeps. I’ll be their favorite meal. And maybe they’ll burp and smile after they’ve had enough. And I know that I’m imagining things and that this sounds crazy, but I’m scared of insects. and bugs. and maggots and the unknown.

And what’ll happen to my body after I die is part of this unknown figment of imagination that keeps playing up my fears.
